Ronald Allen Strickert, age 50, of Janesville, WI died Thursday, April 6, 2017 at Mercy Health System after complications from long-term kidney disease. He was born on February 23, 1967 in Janesville, the son of Henry and Beverly (Farberg) Strickert. Ron graduated from Parker High School in 1985. He was a long time milk hauler, starting Strickert Trucking in 1993 and retiring in 2015 due to failing health. Ron enjoyed watching the Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Brewers, Wisconsin Badgers, Gold Rush and Big Bang Theory. He liked anything related to farming.
Ron is survived by his parents, sister, Kim (Lynn) Burnell of The Villages, FL, brother, Michael (Jennifer) of Beloit, WI, two nieces, Taylor (Kole) Kleinhenz and Brooke Strickert.
Per Ron’s request, no services or visitation will be held. His final resting place will be Bethel Cemetery, Center Township. Henke-Clarson Funeral Home is assisting the family.
